The story - What we do - Meet the band
First of all, thank you for stopping by.
In the absence of everything like a photographer, manager, press officer and everything else that it seems to matter when keep a band up running, you should rather get the unmade-up version of us here.
THE STORY
We are four guys who all have strong interest in music. Actually, we have quite different music tastes but .... Before 2013, we were acquaintances as colleagues, former classmates, grew up in the same environment and some family. When we desided to start playing together a bit, after the instruments had lain dormant for a number of years, we tried some projects across basement in our homes out here in the ocean gap. It ended with Ole Marius (guitarist) and Kjell-Tore (bassist and multi-instrumentalist) who found Roy who where known as an earlier drummer.
In a basement living room at Synnes and a tiny room in Ole's garage, at Roald a number of attempts were made to find common denominators in the music genre before even Kenneth appeared with the keyboard.

Suddenly one day we where played in the garage, Kjell-Tore says: "What if we just knock out that wall and expand the room so we get a little better space. After laughting it away for a while, there was no more talk about that day. A few months later the wall was gone and a new room get shaped. Thanks to eagerly souls and good help from many teams, the room we use today became a reality on the new studio project. You can read more about Kollektivet Studio by it's own link here eventually.
We finally gathered around the pop / rock genre and have brought out cover songs in a wide range from the 60's and even the 90's. But we have not really locked ourselves completely there either. What colors us as a band today is the sound of good classical pop / rock with guitar / organ in the soundscape. This is also the backdrop when we write our own songs, which the whole band contribute for shaping.
We hold weekly band rehearsal nights and have been doing it all the way since the start.
The journey has shaped a close relations in music, as band members and friends.
What we do
Everyon contributs for what thay think works out best. Several of us both write lyrics and create music in the band. The creation of our own songs realy start counting, and several more to come. In addition, we use the fixed studio setup which provides a easy opportunity to record quality multi records and "sound parts" for later use in the events.
There is something about "self-made is well-made" but this road have never been easy. Every Recordings, mix and masterings need focus to get the good quality.
Anyway it has never stopped us from trying ....again, and again, and again.
A lot of projecks has been wrecked along the way.
After several studio upgrades during the Pandemic and a high effort we get "things working out" with both studio gear and software.
The results should now reflected the new studio setup .
In the year of 2023 we are in mood for play it loud! With our own studio we'r also ready for assignments.
